Featuring a heated pool with a hot tub, the 3-star smoke-free Hotel Moldova Iasi is approximately 500 metres from the grandiose Gothic-revival Palace of Culture. Located within a few blocks of the seventeenth-century Monastery of the Three Holy Hierarchs, this Iasi hotel offers a steam room, a Jacuzzi, and a sauna on site, and great access to sacred landmarks like Our Lady Queen of Iași Cathedral, only 0.9 km away.
The hotel is in the historical centre of Iasi, around a 10-minute drive from the Iasi Botanical Garden and within 25 minutes' walk of the Romanian Orthodox Frumoasa Monastery. The Moldova Iasi is also not far from such natural sights as Palas Public Garden. Guests might as well visit Parcul Anastasie Panu, which is merely 300 metres away. You can easily find the Romanian Literature Museum nearly 30 minutes' walk from the accommodation. Palatul Culturii bus stop is situated within easy reach of the Moldova.
The rooms overlook the city and feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels along with a minibar fridge. Air conditioning are featured for guests' comfort. The en-suite bathrooms, fitted with a separate toilet and a shower, also offer a hair dryer and shower caps.
A buffet breakfast is served each morning at the Moldova Iasi. This Iasi hotel offers an à la carte restaurant as well as a lounge bar. The restaurant at the property has European menu. Review by hotel critic
Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed in the lobby by the 24-hour reception staff. Though the room was not overly spacious, it was comfortable and provided all essential amenities. the central location provided exquisite views of the city center, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking convenience. the gym and swimming pool facilities were well-maintained, offering a relaxing way to unwind after a day of exploration. I found the breakfast buffet to be adequate, with a decent selection of options. the on-site restaurant, while lacking in ambiance, served tasty dishes at reasonable prices. Despite some dated aspects reminiscent of a bygone era, such as old televisions in the rooms, the hotel exuded a charm that harkened back to its historical significance. This hotel provided good value for the money, especially considering its advantageous location and the convenience of various amenities available to guests.
